In order to get the music pieces for the video, I emailed Jamie Christopherson for the licensing rights of the songs. The first song I chose is called "Carnival of Delights" and is a suspense piece of music. This piece of music, as you can tell from the name, is meant to be a horror version of a circus. Although our team and I knew this, we figured that we could make this song work for our video. It starts off with a catchy theme that makes it seem that something is off. It makes it seem like the character we are now seeing isn't exactly a good person. The truth is that he isn't, or wasn't. As the music grows louder and louder it brings more tension to the scene and makes everything seem serious from this point on. It then tones down and fades away leading to conflict point that Drake must go to. Our second song is called "Zero Gravity" which is an action piece. This piece of music is meant to show the conflict in action and make the scene even more serious. This is when Drake starts to take action by preparing and then fighting Joker. The start of the song is a buildup which is used to show Drake preparing for the battle for his sister. The song goes on and it gets more and more impactful to show how serious Drake is about this issue. Then it brings an evil theme into it where the villain is confident where he will win. The music continues and a heroic theme starts to play to represent Drake. Then a theme plays where it seems like a desperate struggle to get his sister back from Joker. As it fades out, it shows no sign or getting better for Drake, and only brings more questions than answers. Overall these two songs were meant for each other as one brings the suspense in the start. The other one compliments this one well by bringing the action in the video.
