Obtaining Music Production Blog

In search of some music to find, I looked around for multiple composers to ask. I thought of this one composer who made one of my favorite songs and decided to text him on Instagram. His name was Jamie Christopherson and he creates many instrumental pieces of music which I figured would be perfect for our video. I wasn't sure if he would answer or not but I asked anyways because he was my last hope. Once I texted him on instagram asking for the specific song, unfortunately he did not own the rights to the song I wanted. I was caught in a bit of devastation because I thought that this would be easier but it seemed to be a challenge. I immediately thought of other sources that I could get my music from but I thought we might have had to rely on royalty free music in the end. Luckily, Mr. Christopherson said that he would send our team a library full of his songs that we could work with. He gave me his email for more convenience of communication. There were over 50 songs to choose from and we took 3 days to finally pick 2 songs that we were confident would work for our video. The first one was called "Carnival of Delights" which is a suspenseful type of music that is meant for the first part of the video. The second song is called "F-Zero" which is an action piece of music that is meant for battle scenes. I requested that we could use these two pieces of music for our project. He gracefully accepted our request and sent over a document that allows us to use it in our project. I am extremely thankful to Mr. Christopherson because he could have left us with nothing in the end. Instead, he decided to help me more by giving me a selection of songs that he created. He was a valuable asset to this project as without him we would have had a hard time finding music from another source. This project wouldn't have been successful without him and my group is thankful for him and me for recommending him.
