Filming Blog: Our Destinations True End

When editing the video, we dound out there was a problem with some of the footage. Most of it was just filler content that made no sense. Me and Jason decided that we honestly had no other choice than to go back out to record. This was a good oppurtunity to fix what the peer reviewer had problems with the video. So we got Ethan and went back out to film. We cut out the filler content out and were left with around 30 seconds left to film. So we discussed what we were gonna do. If we redid the other scenes but longer, it would just be filler. I proposed the idea that we focus on adding onto the video. This was risky because it would not be featured on the script or storyboard. But we figured it was a risk we had to take. We got out there and continued from where me and Jason clashed. Once we clashed, we jumped back to get space. Then, Jason saw Ethan's sword and decided to dual wield. Then Jason rushed at me while dual wielding and attacked me. I guarded 3 of his attacks because he dual wielded terribly. Then Jason spun backwards to gain some distance. Then I said some words to intidate him and then did a jump slash and thats where it cuts. I honestly think that this part of the story was not put with all our effort. Since Ethan is the director he told us what to do and he just wanted to get this video done so we did one take for some of the scenes we recorded. Me and Jason will edit this video together to try to make this part of the story work out but theres nothing we can do about it now.
